Since we have to start thinking about back to school, we suggest approaching it from an angle you love: sewing! It is indeed time to start thinking about the children's back-to-school wardrobe. Focus on timeless, mixed, simple, and basic patterns that will allow you to dress them all year long. Whether it's for school or daycare, you should be able to find what you're looking for in our selection.

Milano is the essential apron dress for the first day of school! With ruffles or without, with large straps crossed in the back and an elasticated waist, this pretty model is a basic of the little girls' wardrobe. It can be worn with a Stockholm or Electre blouse. This easy-to-sew model can be made in any fabric you like: corduroy, double gauze, denim, or French Terry.

For back-to-school or summer, the Vancouver sweater pattern adapts to all seasons thanks to its different options. In a sleeveless version with trendy shoulder pads, it will particularly appeal to teenage girls. With a hood and nicely puffed sleeves, it will keep them warm in the middle of winter. And because we also like to sew for ourselves at the beginning of the school year, the Vancouver pattern also exists for women. As for the Charlie sweatshirt pattern, it's a must-have! A hoodie with a button placket at the shoulder is perfect for the cooler seasons.

For a cool, casual look in any season, you need the Toronto dress! This modern pattern, open at the shoulder and on the side, can be worn as an overlay. The wide openings on the sides will let your pretty blouses or patterned tee-shirts show through. This pattern is available in two lengths, you can sew it easily in corduroy or denim. And if you want to match all your children, the London dress or dungarees pattern will fit the smallest.

Helsinki is the little comfortable dress. In tartan or gingham with the addition of a small collar in English embroidery, it will be very elegant and refined. In jersey or French Terry with a pattern, it will become a cool and casual model. This simple, loose-fitting, comfortable, and super easy-to-put-on dress thanks to the buttoned placket in the back, is a wardrobe basic revisited by Ikatee.

This pattern of pants or shorts, available in 4 lengths with an elastic waist for maximum comfort and convenience, will completely change its look depending on the fabrics you choose. In cotton, linen, denim, corduroy, and why not French Terry, the multiple options will adapt to all seasons. We especially like the version with the two buttoning tabs on the front, in the spirit of sailor pants!

Sam is an essential pattern for the colder seasons: denim jacket, parka, or coat, you will find what you are looking for.
