Brisbane and Adelaide: new patterns for baby, child and women's bibs

We are delighted to present Brisbane, Brisbane Kids and Adelaide, three new patterns for bibs and sleeveless jumpers, designed for the whole family. Designed for mid-season and slightly cooler days, these styles can be layered over a shirt, T-shirt or jumper. In summer, worn next to the skin, they become pretty, lightweight and comfortable tops.

Each pattern has its own specific features to best suit each age and use. The Adelaide model, designed for babies, can be turned into a bib thanks to its shoulder opening. A pattern that is both practical and cute. Brisbane, with its chest darts, will suit all body types.

We have paid particular attention to the finishing touches: delicate ruffles, ties or button fastenings, neckline bias binding. These carefully crafted details add character to each piece.

Sewing techniques

These patterns are suitable for easy to intermediate levels. Applying bias binding requires a little dexterity and attention to detail, but nothing insurmountable — especially thanks to the two videos dedicated to assembling the models. We detail each step, paying particular attention to applying the bias binding straddle, for a neat finish.

In their simplest versions, Brisbane and Adelaide are ideal projects for a first garment: accessible shapes, quick assembly, and options to progress in sewing at your own pace!
