Osaka is a set of patterns to create 5 kitchen accessories: placemat, napkin, tea towel, cross-back apron, and shopping bag with inside and outside pockets. The models can be made with contrasting cotton twill ribbons. 

Set, napkin, and tea towel with mitered corners for perfect finishes. These practical pieces are quick to sew.
Cross-back apron with a pocket and perfect finishes: French seams, facing, and finishing tapes. This apron can be used for cooking, gardening, or ceramics.
Shopping bag with cotton twill ribbon trim. The unlined tote bag has been designed open for greater practicality when shopping. It's lightweight, quick to sew, and easy to fold for storage. It can be used as a shopping bag or beach bag. The bag can be sewn in plain, two-tone, or three-tone colors, with exterior and interior pockets, large and small handles, and a key ring attachment.

5 patterns are available in one size. 
Placemat: 35 x 50 cm (length x width)/ 13⅞ x 19¾.
Napkin: 45 x 45 cm / 17¾ x 17¾''.
Tea towel: 70 x 50 cm (length x width) / 27⅝ x 19¾''.
Apron for adult: 86 cm high (excluding shoulder straps) 33⅞''. The apron comes in one size. It is shaped to fit most body shapes.
Shopping bag: 58 x 36 x 34 x 22 cm (top width x bottom width x height x depth) 22⅞ x 14⅛ x 13⅜ x 8⅝''

    Fabrics
  • Placemat, napkin, tea towel, cross-back apron: washed linen, poplin, chambray, light denim, jacquard
  • Shopping bag: resistant fabric of medium to heavy weight (approximately 330-440 gsm) such as canvas, gabardine, denim, or very thick linen. A very thin fabric made of resistant polyester can be used; this results in an ultra-light tote bag.
    Supplies
  • Placemat, napkin, tea towel, and cross-back apron: 1 cm/⅜'' wide cotton twill ribbon as an option.
  • Shopping bag: 1 and 2 cm/⅜'' and ¾'' wide cotton twill ribbon (the 2 cm/¾'' ribbon can be replaced by a 2 cm/¾'' wide bias tape). 4 cm/1 ⅝'' wide webbing (cotton or polyester) for the handles. A snap hook for a key ring as an option.
  • Sewing equipment for all projects: scissors and small precise scissors, an erasable fabric pen, a transparent patchwork ruler, pins, needles and, as an option, a stick of temporary fabric glue (for cotton twill ribbons), which is very handy!

    * You can sew up to 2 pieces in a 140 cm/55'' width. The lengths of cotton twill ribbon are given for one piece; you will need to multiply by 2 for two pieces.
    ** The shopping bag can be made in a single color, two colors (color 1 for the front and back, color 2 for the bottom and pockets), or even a three-color version (color 1 for the front and back, color 2 for the pockets, color 3 for the bottom). The lengths indicated in the table show the different options.

What you will receive:

A pattern printed in real size (no overlaying of pieces).
An A5 brochure with all the illustrated steps and information to make your creation successful (cutting plans, tips, etc.) in French and English.
The complete kit will be sent after validation of your payment.
