This pattern can be cut with different fabrics. Fabric lengths are shown in the table. In this case, we recommend you choose fabrics with equivalent weights for all pieces.

For fabric lengths:

  • The high collar can be cut in the fabric width with all the other pieces.
  • If two pieces are to be cut in a single color/fabric, choose the longest yardage between the two. The two pieces will fit into a 140 cm/55'' width. For example: in 3 years, for the high front yoke (25 cm/⅜ yd) and the hood (40 cm/½ yd), you need a total of 40 cm/½ yd of fabric in a 140 cm/55'' width.
  • If three pieces are to be cut in a single color/fabric, add up the largest and smallest yar- dages of the three. For example: in 3 years, for the high front yokes (25 cm/⅜ yd), sleeves (30 cm/⅜ yd) and hood (40 cm/½ yd), you need a total of 65 cm/⅞ yd (25 + 40/ ⅜ + ½) of fabric in 140 cm/55'' width.
