  • Wovens (fabric 1) : thin denim, soft baby corduroy, flannel, soft woolen fabrics

  • Lining (fabric 2) : fleece, jersey, fake fur

Video tutorial was very helpful

Thank you for the video tutorial. It's always helpful to follow along and to visually learn. The directions were clear on paper, but the video was there for reassurance, and I appreciate that. This set is absolutely adorable, I love the fox!. I chose the flap front with button closure, and used french terry for the outer fabric, and sherpa for the lining.

Thin fusible interfacing to reinforce the parts with buttons

Optional : a non-separable zip for the front panel (zip with plastic or metallic teeth). Zip will have to be shortened down to reach the correct size; cut or remove teeth with pliers and replace the metal stop ring if there is one. Otherwise, stop down with lockstitches that are embroidered.

Decorative patches (fabric 3) : Felt (if it is woolen felt ... do not use a tumble dryer

For the zipped option, the head circumference is a little reduced. This version is not recommended for babies with "big heads".

The zip (about 10cm in haberdashery) is to be shortened by removing teeth or cutting.
