Unisex kid PDF Sewing Pattern & Guidebook

Brisbane is a slipover pattern for kids featuring an opening at the sides and very neat finishes. It is a loose-fitting pattern. The model is fully lined and can be trimmed. Ruffles can be added. The top fastens with ties or buttons.

Material suggestions:

  • Warm seasons: poplin, seersucker, linen, chambray, eyelet embroidery. 

  • Cold seasons: corduroy, sherpa, canvas, flanel, French terry, quilted fabric.

Haberdashery:

  • 4 cm/1 ⅝″ wide pre-folded bias tape, folded to 1 cm/⅜″, for the trimmed option.
  • 4 x 20 mm/¾″ buttons for the buttoned option.
  • 30 x 10 cm/12 x 4″ rectangle of fusible woven interfacing for the buttoned option.
  • For the neckline, 4 cm/1 ⅝″ wide pre-folded bias tape, folded to 1 cm/⅜″ (as an option).

* Option with tie closure/option with buttons
** If you wish to make the neckline bias binding from the outside fabric, the pattern piece is included and the yardage is accounted for in the outside fabric requirements.
