3 comfortable and easy to make ponchos.
A: side openings for arm passage, lined and reversible, neckline closure with buttons and decorative pompom braids.
B: side button or snap closure, lined and reversible, ribbed contour and collar.
C: lined, side button or snap closure, half front opening with frog fastener. 
Optional kangaroo pocket for the 3 versions.
Practical and easy to make clothes.

Skill level: easy to intermediate

What you will learn with this sewing pattern: how to reconstitute and to assemble a long strip of ribbing, to make a slit, to assemble a lining. 

Size range:  3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 years old

Fabrics:

  • Main fabric: fleece, fake fur, wool cloth, soft denim, jersey knit, bamboo terry fabric
  • Lining: fake fur, polar fleece, jersey or poplin. Choose your lining  according to the desired look and the weight of the main fabric.

PDF pattern: 

  • 16 pages tutorial (bilingual French / English)
  • PDF pattern A4 or US letter format: 12 pages for 3 to 6 years, 16 pages from 7 to 12 years (1 file per size + 1 multi-size file)

  • PDF pattern file for projection

    Trims:
    • optional bias binding (if you don't sew a lining)
    • thick wool threads for A version braids 
    • buttons of 2-3 cm = 1" wide (2 for A version, 4 for B and C version)
    • 1 frog fastener for C version 
    • ribbing with elasthan for B version (band to be reconstituted by assembling strips to fit around the edge)
    Delivery 

    What you will receive:

    1- PDF files of the sewing pattern in several formats (No overlaying of pieces):

    In A4 or US letter (to print at home in black and white). A PDF file for each size. A PDF file for all sizes together on 16 pages

    In A0 (to print at a copy shop in black and white): to be printed on 1 page for all sizes together. Without any overlaying of pieces.

    A PDF file for projection

    2- PDF files for the instructions in colours: one file of the Guidebook in English, one file of the guidebook in French.
