Material suggestions:

  • knits: jersey with or without elastan, pointelle knit, ribbing.  

    Trims :

    • Needle for jersey or stretchy fabrics
    • Fully voluminous polyester thread for under bobbin,
    • 5 to 6 snap buttons  10mm wide
    • Fusible interfacing (paper like) for the pockets reinforcement
    • Double training foot for sewing machine (recommended to sew the ribbing)

    PDF pattern: 

    • 14 pages tutorial (bilingual French / English)
    • PDF pattern A4 or US letter format : 24 pages to print out from 3 up to 6 years, 28 pages from 7 up to 11 years, 34 pages for 12 years and multi-sizes (1 file per size + 1 multi-size file)

      Gaby jumpsuit/ pj’s

      I have just sewn 3 Gaby jumpsuits for my Grandsons. The pattern is quick to sew up, I made the long sleeve version and had then finished in a few hours. The only thing I changed was reducing the interfacing at the bottom by 3cm to reduce the bulk at that seam.
      Overall a quick and satisfying project, and my Grandson's love them.
      This was my first purchase from Ikatee, and I will definitely be buying more.
