Duo for woman and kid VANCOUVER sweatshirt - paper sewing pattern

2 paper sewing pattern duos:

Woman from 32 to  52 and children from 3 to 12 years

Short sweatshirt, loose fit for children from 3 to 12 years old.

2 styles: zipped or without front opening. Length: short, just below the waist. Loose sleeves or sleeveless version.

 Lined hood or basic collar option for non-zipped versions.

Wide neckline, optional shoulder pads. 

Side and back seams with shoulder seam shifted to the front. A modern and casual look with 12 possible versions.

Sewing level :   intermediate

What you will learn with this pattern: how to attach a lined hood, a zipper, seams, ribbed cuffs, and gather sleeve hems

Size range for women :  32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 (French size)

Size 32 corresponds approximately to a 14-year-old and size 34 to a 16-year-old.

Age range for kids :  3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years

Suggested fabrics:

Exterior: French terry, sweatshirt fabric, sherpa, jerseys, rib knit, fancy knit such as waffle or terry/velour

Hood lining: jersey, cotton poplin, or chambray

Cuffs and neckband (hoodless version): rib knit
