Size range for women: 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 (French sizes) or 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 (US sizes)

Fabrics:

Main fabric: cotton fabric such as gabardine or denim (for parkas or jackets), synthetic fabric like polyamide, thicker or thinner polyester and coated fabric (for waterproof items), or water-repellent fabrics (for lightweight windbreakers or “bomber”-style jackets).

Lining: (for the hood and pocket bottoms, and optional for the body and sleeves) cotton or viscose poplin, fine synthetic fabric (nylon-style), microfleece, or sherpa. Prefer synthetic materials for the sleeves (with optional wadding for winter).

Fabric and trims:

  • Main fabric: cotton fabric such as gabardine or denim (for parkas or jackets), synthetic fabric like polyamide, thicker or thinner polyester and coated fabric (for waterproof items), or water-repellent fabrics (for lightweight windbreakers or “bomber”-style jackets).
  • Lining: (for the hood and pocket bottoms, and optional for the body and sleeves) cotton or viscose poplin, fine synthetic fabric (nylon-style), microfleece, or sherpa. Prefer synthetic materials for the sleeves (with optional wadding for winter).
  • Ribbed collar version: ribbing
  • 1 separable jacket zipper (open-end or two-way separator for mid-length and long versions): nylon coil, molded plastic, or metal zippers
  • 1 elastic 2 cm (¾ in.) wide for cuffs, and optional 3 cm (1⅛ in.) wide for hem on short version
  • optional: 1 flat cord for the hood and 1 for the drawstring
  • optional: 2 eyelets for the hood and 2 for the drawstring (8 to 10 mm; up to ⅜ in. diameter)
