What you will learn with this sewing pattern: how to sew a back opening with button and loop, how to sew ruffles, how to sew a bias binding at neckline.

Material suggestions:

  • Main fabric:
Cotton : poplin, light twill, batist double gauze,
Thin denim or chambray
Thin twill
Linen in summer
Cotton viscose or viscose 100%
Prefer thin fabrics to thick ones (not adapted for gathering)
  • Second Fabric:
Lining OPTION :
Poplin or batiste in cotton or polyester for the dress lining. The lining is necessary if your main fabric is a little transparent for any season or too thin for a fall winter season.
No need for lining with the blouse

Very beautiful pattern, easy to follow. I have a small suggestion about adding some more detail in the step about the neck opening with bias binding. Either way, I really recommend the pattern! My niece was absolutely thrilled with the result.
