Oslo sewing pattern: simple and delicate
For the pretty little girls
Our beautiful exclusive viscose Ikatee® Blossom storm is back in stock, and we decided to take this opportunity to (re)introduce you to the pattern Oslo. Oslo is a sewing pattern for a blouse or dress that we wanted to be simple but with sophistication. We like the delicacy of the front and back yokes: you can add easily gathers, piping, or lace between the top and the more ample bottom pieces. The sleeves can be short or long, with or without a shirred cuff.
It is a shape you can use all year long depending on the fabric you choose. A short-sleeved version will be perfect for summer, but with tights and an undershirt, you can also wear it in the winter.
This pattern is available from 6 months to 4 years. You can choose between the PDF file or the paper-printed pattern. It is a pattern for sewists with an easy to intermediate level. A guidebook is available to guide you step by step.

Everything to sew Oslo
To make this garment, as a blouse or dress, you will need at most 90 cm of fabric, about 35 inches. Prefer a fluid fabric: cotton sateen, poplin, viscose, gauze, light denim, or thin corduroy. Don't forget 5 to 7 buttons, piping or lace, and a small piece of interfacing for the button placket. You can also add two labels: one for the size (especially if it's a gift for new parents) and one to add a special note!
These fabrics are available on our french website ikatee.fr. However the shipping costs are the same, and the patterns are in English and in French if you buy them on both websites. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
