Skill level: easy to intermediate

What you will practice with this blouse sewing pattern: how to assemble a neckline band, to make a button placket, to assemble different types of collars.

A video is available in free access on the site including the complete assembly of the garment (all options).

Age range: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 years

Material suggestions:

  • Warm season: poplin, gingham, plumetis, chambray, linen, double gauze, broderie anglaise, seersucker, viscose.
  • Cold season: corduroy, soft denim, flannel, fine gabardine.

PDF pattern: 

  • 18 pages tutorial (bilingual French / English)
  • PDF pattern A4 or US letter format: 40 pages (1 file per size + 1 multi-size file)  (it is not necessary to print the 24 pages which represent all the collar options, the details of the pages to be printed depending on the options chosen is given in the guidebook)
  • PDF pattern A0 format: 2 pages
  • PDF pattern file for projection

Fabric and trims:

  • Thin fusible interfacing
  • Closing: buttons or snaps (diameters 10, 11, 12 mm)
  • Optional decorations: rickrack, piping, lace. (1 to 2 meters for the collar)

The requirements for the versions with collar are based on the largest collars (squared collar and collar ruffle). For smaller collars (collar stand, shirt collar, flat collar, Peter Pan collar) the requirements can be slightly reduced.

What you will receive:

1- PDF files of the sewing pattern in several formats (No overlaying of pieces):

In A4 or US letter (to print at home in black and white). A PDF file for each size: 40 pages. A PDF file for all sizes together on 40 pages

In A0 (to print at a copy shop in black and white): to be printed on 2 pages for all sizes together. Without any overlaying of pieces.

Projection file

2- PDF files for the instructions in colours: one file of the Guidebook in English, one file of the guidebook in French.
