What you will learn with this pattern: how to sew ribbing at the neck, cuffs, and bottom, and how to assemble ruffles at the armholes.

Size range for women: 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 (French sizes) or 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 (US sizes)

The size 32 corresponds approximately to a 14 year old and the 34 to a 16 year old

Size range for kids: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 years old

Fabric recommendations:

  • Terry fabric, fleece, terry cloth, or Jersey
  • Ribbing for the collar, cuffs, and bottom bands

Favourite jumper pattern!

I bought both patterns to make me and my girls jumpers, and I love them both! Such a quick and easy sew with really good instructions. I love that there's options for jumpers, dresses and with or without ruffle - you can create so many different looks. I also like the additional topstitching around the ruffle, neck, hem and cuffs.

Fabric and trims:

  • Main fabric: French terry, fleece, terry cloth, or jersey.
  • Ribbing for the collar, cuffs, and bottom band.
  • Woolie polyester thread for rolled hem (option)

Fabric width is 140 cm / 55".

* For sizes 50 (18) and 52 (20), for the version without ruffle, remove 15 cm (6 in.) of fabric need.
