Stylish and easy pjs

I helped my granddaughters sew this pattern and they LOVE their new pajamas. The shape and design is just right for kids, and the construction easy enough for a 5 year old (except the ribbing). I will make these again.

Ribbing. There are two types of ribbing: flat ribbing and tubular ribbing. The tubular is knitted in the shape of a tube; it must be cut on one side and opened flat.

You can replace the ribbing with stretch jersey. You will then need to add 1 cm (") to the length of these pieces for more comfort (jersey is less stretchy than ribbing).

If you are making the waistband from a woven fabric, you will need to lengthen the piece so that it is the same length as the top of the pants.
