What you will learn with this sewing pattern: how to sew jersey, assemble ribbing and  an elasticated waistband.

You can find the measurement chart of the finished product in the pictures or here in PDF. So people who have the original edition can easily adjust the length of the sleeves and the bottom

A video is available for free access on the website.

Material suggestions:

  • Knit: cotton jersey with elastane (3% minimum), interlock.
  • Fleece, French terry
  • The top and bottom can be coordinated or not according to your desires.
  • The bottom can also be made of a stretch woven fabric: corduroy, soft denim, flannel. But this material is not very suitable for a harem pants shape if the woven fabric does not have elastane.
  • Ribbing

Trims

1/2in. (age 1 to 24m) to 4/5in. (3 and 4 years) wide elastic for waistband
Prefer to use 100% polyester full voluminous overlock thread at bobin for the collar band to ensure the extensibility and head passage (example ©Seraflock)
